MK Indy RR Hayabusa (Gen2)

 

This car was purchased brand new from MK late 2016.

 

It has only seen 5 track days which just isn't enough use in nearly 3 years (non this year!), hence the hard decision taken to sell it. It has never been raced and I have changed the oil and filter when it was purchased, after track day 3 and before track day 5.

 

The car is not road registered and has been used on track only. I have toyed on and off with the idea of getting it road registered but from experience of other kit cars always came back to the same conclusion that the road quickly wears on them (stone chips etc) and the reality is you only get to use about 50% of the cars actual performance. On the track this car is extremely capable and a real driving machine, and I am relived to say has never seen a gravel trap! 

 

To combat the ever stringent noise tests at trackdays we had a Carterham style second silencer fitted to the rear of the car. This made a significant difference to the static noise test and had no noticeable reduction on performance. This can also easily be removed as it is bolted not welded after the first silencer.

 

It is fitted with a Gen 2 Hayabusa engine producing 204bhp.

With its built in sequential gearbox and flat shifter system the car will do 0-60 in 3 seconds.

It has had all new parts fitted when i purchased including a 3.14 differential with a quaife lsd unit.

Always been kept in my garage (see last picture). This car deserves to go to someone that is going to use it properly and embarrass most things on track days!
